Deutschland

For years, I had a routine of visiting Germany at least once every year. However, the pandemic brought this routine to a halt. I’ve recently had the opportunity to return to this country, which has come to feel like a second home.

Ever since I was young, stories about Germany have piqued my curiosity. As an adult, my travels increased this interest significantly. My fascination really peaked when I came across a podcast episode from Hardcore History about the Munster rebellion. Despite the grim parts of the story, I found myself drawn in, struck by the realization that I could stand where these historic events had taken place. This sparked a journey of learning about Germany’s detailed history, structured society, beautiful architecture, and the unique lifestyle of The German Way.

My latest trip was spent primarily in the beautiful state of Baden-Württemberg. This trip was probably the best I’ve ever had to Germany, thanks to my friend and his family who live there. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I’m truly grateful for their kindness, and I’m eager for my next visit.
